JULIAN JONES- George Benson Tribute
“In the spirit of Benson ”

Julian has launched a new project in 2007, a tribute to the great jazz/R&b/ pop guitarist/vocalist, George Benson.
By utilising the talents of Sunshine Coast duo “Amazon Blue”, also adding bass and drums, he has tailored a band to suit corporate functions and upmarket clubs..
The tribute is a portion of a nights entertainment including subtle dinner music and dance tunes in the later sets. This package includes the fine talents of Fran Kelly, vocalist, and Gus Mckinstray on alto and soprano saxes plus keyboards.
The Benson tribute includes many of the great tunes recorded by this great artist from the “Breezin” album of 1976 right up to his latest collaboration with jazz/ soul great, the vocalist Al Jarreau.
